Marketing on google and does not necessarily mean spending big dollars advertising with google. That is only one part of how you can market on google and get into the search visibility. Google has incorporated several easy to use yet very powerful places you can access for free and be shown, including on page one!

Here are 4 Important Google Places you want to be on:

1. Google My Business

This is a free and easy-to-use tool for businesses to manage your online presence across Google, including Search and Maps. You do need a physical location which will need verifying but by editing your business information, you can help customers find you, get rated and tell customers the story of your business in pictures

2. YouTube

4.1 million videos are being viewed every minute on you tube. With your own You tube Channel in place you can offer fast and easy information on a highly searched platform. You can add links and hashtags into the description of your videos. You can embed the videos on your website pages and create a powerful path for customers to see you. Google search gives videos a high search ranking!

3. Google+

This much misunderstood social media platform created by Google is more powerful when used well than Facebook. Google gives google+ posts priority when searches contain keywords you’ve used in your posts, specially when you combine them with hashtags. Both, google+ and you tube videos will come up on page one for searches almost instantly!

4. Your Website

Keep your website active! Keep writing blog posts and connect them to your social media posts, platforms and send visitors to your blog posts. Make sure you fully understand what working with keywords on a page means. You will NOT need any other SEO to be found when you keyword your blog posts correctly.

Market on these Google Platforms regularly. Everytime when we ask audiences where they go first to find a product or service they say: google. Make sure you are there!

A very simple process would be:

Write a blog post on your website, put a link to it into your email newsletter, link social media posts to it. Then use snippets of the post on google my business update, create a short video and post it on you tube on the same blog topic. Put a post a day on google+ with link back to your website blog post. Make sure you use strong keywords and hashtags with it.
