Speed Networking 130 pixelsNot your standard networking lunch by any means, as our 'Speed Networking Luncheons' always represent organised chaos. They are loud, energising and exhausting, and you just have to be part of it. It's a great way to meet other business professionals in a short period of time. The event is always lots of fun and an effective way to make a lot of initial connections in a very different environment from our standard business networking meetings.

If this is your first experience of 'Speed Networking', basically it involves being seated in two circles and gives you the opportunity to meet at least 20 luncheon guests one on one. Participants are split into two groups sitting across from one another and after the set time period (3 minutes) the outside circle of people will get up and move in one direction around the circle. Once the speed component is over, a dessert buffet and coffee will be served providing that all important time to reconnect with those you wish to speak with in more detail.

You need to be ready for action, fun and desired outcomes from this event, so here are some tips to ensure you're prepared and can maximise the results to be gained from your participation.

What you'll need:
l 100 Business Cards - You won't be able to participate effectively without them.
l A Refined Pitch - Ensure the description of what you do is engaging and don't waffle on. Yawn!
l Be Attentive - Show more interest in others than in yourself. Don't be a blow hole!
l Be Memorable - Use humour, a unique point of interest or tip and ensure you shine in the crowd.

On Arrival: Pre-luncheon drink followed by cash bar.

Lunch: A scrumptious hot and cold buffet luncheon will be served including a selection of desserts. The buffet selection will cater for those with vegetarian and/or medical dietary needs. 

Note: Buffet also includes a selection of breads and non-alcoholic beverages followed by coffee, tea and chocolates.
