It’s Nothing Personal - It’s Just Business

Sharon Muggivan, CEO, Aware Industries

Sharon Muggivan, Networking Events Albury WodongaAre you good at separating business and personal criticisms or do you find yourself sometimes taking things on personally? Well the good news is that when it comes to business and work it's not about you - it’s all about them.

Our guest speaker, Sharon Muggivan says, most people hate their job for one of two reasons. Firstly, people issues including, conflict, miscommunication and poor management or secondly they might be working in the wrong job. Understanding human behaviour and how we participate in other peoples frustrations can dramatically change the way we see or feel about our own work situation.

Sharon’s book,  ‘It’s not about you at work!: It’s Business - It’s not Personal’ looks at how by creating an attitude of respect, accountability and responsibility and separating business matters from personal matters you can change your life, enhance your job satisfaction and cope with any stressful personality issues that are getting in the way of your success. Learning how to detach emotionally and stepping back to see a situation objectively allows you to maintain emotional balance rather than taking things personally. You may not be able to change the people around you however Sharon will teach you how you can change the way you respond to those around you.
