Janeen Mackie | Managing Director | Optim Learning Solutions

Janeen Mackie Optim LearningHer Business:

Optim Learning Solutions is a boutique learning design, development and delivery company. The company specialises in partnering with your organisation to transform organisational strategies into results. We have worked with many organisations to determine the impact of organisational change on employees, identifying the gaps in required knowledge, skills and attitudes, and implementing the appropriate learning solutions to address them. In other words, we develop the training to meet your needs.

Business Tip:

One of the most important business tips I can give is to always conduct yourself in a professional manner no matter how difficult the situation. Professional conduct will always be remembered by your client.

Marketing Tip:

Marketing is always an interesting topic. I believe marketing is about awareness of your company versus the hard-sell and promotional push of your company. I find that most of our business comes from referrals rather than a full blown marketing strategy.

Work and Family:

A very good question! I have two businesses and have a family with three children. My biggest tip is to make sure you juggle your work life to meet the children’s needs. I have never missed a sports day, swimming carnival or assembly where my children receive a certificate. By having this balance you are a happy mum and business woman and, most importantly, your family is happy.

Best thing about WNA Membership:

The best thing about being a Member of WNA is meeting some amazing women. They have the best stories to share and I find comfort in sharing similar stories.
