Tell us about your current position or business:

I work with women in business to enhance their personal effectiveness and leadership capacity for global effect. I offer coaching, workshops, retreats, seminars and home study programs for leveraging leadership and personal effectiveness.

What's been your most outstanding career/business achievement?

* Winner Best New Business - Chamber of Women in Business Awards 2008.
* Established national award wining Instructor Training Program for Outward Bound Australia.
* Led a six week canoe trip in northwest Ontario at the age of 22.
* Ran 6th in a marathon only seven months after finishing cancer treatment.

What are your top 3 networking tips?

n Send thank you cards to event organisers - it's a thankless job, so it will be remembered!
n Keep asking questions of someone until you find something that lights up their eyes.
n Smile, act like the hostess, arrive early and leave late.

What's been your most successful marketing or career progression strategy?

* Stepping out on a limb with confidence and faith in myself and the outcome, even when I was terrified to do so. 
* Absolute and unrelenting commitment to following through. 
* Do everything with sincerity and passion.

What can't you live without?

Being outside in the wilderness - mountains or the ocean - it's both grounding and expanding for the soul.

What value and benefit have you or your business gained by being a WNA Member?

The inspiration and momentum knowing there are other accomplished women doing fabulous things with their passion and vision in their own businesses.
