Women (and some men too!) join Women's Network Australia for a range of reasons and a huge range of benefits.
Look at what others have to say about WNA and join today. We would love to hear your experiences with WNA. Please tell us.
The support (online, in print and in person) is fantastic and the events are always informative and entertaining. In addition, I believe that the 1:1 Business Mentoring Session is the best value for money purchase that I have ever made. Brilliant brainstorming and objective advice can be hard to find – except, of course, if you’re a WNA Member! Sally Symonds Director Sally Symonds Healthy Life Mentor
Freelance photography can be a very solitary practice at times and being a WNA Member has allowed me to become part of a like-minded community of women (and men) who, after only one luncheon so far, have provided me with work, support, opportunities, ideas for growing my business and even mentorship. Michelle Dunn Director Michelle Dunn Photography

Since joining WNA I've met some great people. I love the meetings - always so positive and uplifting. The structure is great. I just wanted to pass onto you how fabulous WNA is. I joined late last year after attending a luncheon in Hobart. As an employee, a Museum Consultant, I really wasn’t sure if I would gain any benefit from being a member of WNA. A month later I picked up a University contract to travel Tasmania for 3 years training the volunteers to catalogue, photograph and number their collections. Thank you Lynette for starting this wonderful network in the first place. Sue Atkinson Library & Museum Technician

I just wanted to let you know that I responded to a WNA Media Call Alert last week. I have just finished taping a segment with Today Tonight, which should be on later this week. I cannot thank you enough for these incredible media opportunities that are facilitated by WNA. I appreciate that you have taken the time to build these relationships with the media and then extend them to all WNA Members. They are of enormous value - I simply wouldn’t have had the opportunity without you. Rhondalynn Korolak Managing Director Imagineering
I first joined WNA over 6 years ago when I started my first business and I would attribute a large part of my success to regularly attending WNA functions. Whilst I have been gone for almost 3 years pursuing a career as a National Fitness Manager in the UK, the moment I arrived back in Australia I re-joined without hesitation. If you are serious about building quality relationships, both personal and professional, then I couldn't recommend WNA highly enough. This is a truly unique and credible networking group. Sonja Falvo Director & Body Transformation Specialist Real Body Enterprises
I wanted to tell you how delighted I was to have my article published in Working Women magazine. It always is a great read with so many fascinating articles for women in business. I am amazed at the response I had from WNA Members when utilising your 'Media Call' service. I must have had close to 20 responses in the first hour! That’s an amazing number! I am sure WNA will prove very useful in the future when I am looking for specific case studies for future stories. Thank you. Gillian Bullock Freelance Journalist Ninemsn
I have been living in England for the past 5 years but renewed my membership of WNA last year. The magazines and networking activities are just amazing and you seem to be going from strength to strength. I have joined similar groups here in the UK but they lack the sparkle and drive which WNA has. Have you considered starting up WN (UK)? Best wishes and congratulations for all the excellent work you are doing to promote women in business. Joy Arnott Simmons and Sons UK
I love the support you receive from WNA - listening to other women’s experiences on how they built their businesses, how they handle daily obstacles, family/work balance -it’s a huge benefit you don’t get anywhere else. It’s rewarding and motivating and a whole lot of fun at the same time! Jody Williams Senior Partner/Insurance Broker Oracle Professional Services
Congratulations Lynette on your enthusiastic chairing of yesterday's lunch - the networking exercise was a great idea and offered interesting insights into what people say versus what others pick up on. You could not have chosen a better ambassador for the WNA network in Western Australia than Marina Bertolino. It is evident that the success of the network in WA is something that is very close to her heart and of very high importance to her. Marina makes a point of making each and every member and guest feel entirely welcome and it is such a pleasure and inspiration to have a leader here that is so passionate and dedicated to her work with WNA. Thank you for bringing WNA to this side of the country as it is one of the best networking groups that I am a member of. I have already made many friends through this network and this is the only network that I make extra effort not to miss out on even one event. Debra Barber – MAIOP Virtual Assistant Online Personal Assistants
I wanted to thank you for the excellent Christmas function. The best I have attended in my many years of business. Well run and organised and as always the feeling of being 'welcome' and 'safe'. Susan Alberti is an elegant woman and an inspiring speaker and the singers brought a tear to my eye. It was a pleasure to see familiar faces again and meet new ones. It is an easy environment, without pressure and knowing we are all there for a similar purpose. Trust is built through a common bond with a calibre of women that you would want to work with. I have formed many valuable relationships. Well done again! Wendy Berry Managing Director Sales Evolution

Thank you for organising the Gold Coast WNA Networking events. It was a really good night and I heard a couple of women mention that it was loads of fun, not like those other stuffy networking events. So, well done, your passion and enthusiasm for helping women succeed in business shined out of you last night. Thanks also for putting us all on the spot so we can become better speakers and listeners. That's the fastest and best way of learning. Rebecca Lloyd Motivation and Results Expert

I was most impressed with the recent WNA Gold Coast networking event I attended. Thanks again for running a productive event! Kate Johnson Director Ordium Pty Ltd
Thanks again for a wonderful lunch in Melbourne yesterday. I had a lovely time and met some terrific women - all of whom I have been in contact with this morning on email. I am feeling so empowered and in control of my business at the moment and feel that it will go from strength to strength. I have been able to help put some women in touch with either other women or services and products (totally unrelated to my business) that they did not know about which makes me feel great about helping other women. Congratulations to you and your staff for the well organised event - it went off without a hitch. Denise McCann Director Women of Wine Pty Ltd
I just wanted to say thank you for a great event last week. It was very well organised, the speaker was fantastic and I met lots of contacts. Well done! Thanks again. Michaela Mason Managing Director Young Organics Pty Ltd
Your networking lunches are not only very enjoyable but structured in a way that gives women an excellent chance to know who is in the room and get the best out of each meeting. You have a wonderful energy and sense of humour that lights up the room and I am very impressed by the great calibre of women attending and quality of the speakers and businesses. "Shout" when you get to Manhattan which is only 45 minutes from Stamford where I live and work. Jan Yager Director Life Management Centre | Connecticut USA
Thanks so much Lynette for sharing your tips and hints at WNA's Networking and Self-Promotion Workshop in Melbourne last week. I got an enormous amount from it and have already started putting things into practice. I am delighted to be a new WNA Member and have already passed on WNA's website details to a few friends who are about to embark into the business world. Don't forget Lynette - life is too short to drink bad wine. Denise McCann Director Women Of Wine Pty Ltd
Thank you for the Networking and Self-Promotion Workshop in Melbourne yesterday, I learned a lot from listening to others and from you, Lynette, on how to improve my approach to many things, not just networking. I also liked that it was a small gathering. I was expecting a large group and thought I'd be listening to you from across the room. Jacqui Sario Account Manager Australian Clothing Company
I just wanted to say that I am really impressed with WNA's seminars, business luncheons and the networking opportunities. I have joined a few organisations that promise networking opportunities, but it is always at the end or beginning of the meeting and you usually never get a chance to connect with anyone. I realise it is what you make of it, so thanks for encouraging that culture and giving us the opportunity to do that. Keep up the good work and I will be spreading the word. Sarah D'Silva Principal Dynamis Homoeopathy
Just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday’s Networking and Self-Promotion Workshop in Melbourne. I thoroughly enjoyed it, learnt heaps and was really inspired by your presentation. I really felt I got a lot out of yesterday’s Networking and Self-Promotion Workshop. I am now feeling motivated and inspired about my business plus confident I know how to start networking now. Just wanted to drop you a little note to say ‘well done’. I enjoyed the Gold Coast event and thought Nikita did an excellent job. She was very enthusiastic and covered the material well. And for those of us ‘old members’ it made me think about getting moving with using some of WNA’s other services. Keep up the good work. Pam Frank Business Broker Business Brokers Queensland

Thanks for a great networking event today. It was my first WNA experience and made me feel pleased with my decision to join your organisation. I realise I have a lot of work to do to get into that 5% of people who are truly skilled networkers - I didn’t score well in the yes/no/sometimes test - but I’m determined to improve. Miriam Airey Director Ellipsis Writing and Editing
Thank you for an amazing function today. I found the speed networking concept really valuable in terms of focusing me and taking me out of my comfort zone. So next time I’m in a normal social environment it should be much easier. Christine Retschlag Journalist & Director WriteClick

I strongly urge any woman starting her business to join and become an active member. Many thank WNA! Dr Kate Lemerle Principal Psychologist Chrysalis Wellness Services
I am so glad to have found Women’s Network Australia. It is so inspiring to be surrounded by positive women who share the same passion and excitement about being in business. I have been in business for 4 years but I never felt so good. Being new to Sydney and not knowing many people I was very excited to attend the first luncheon. When I attended the luncheon I was just over the moon - I wanted to stay longer. It exceeded my expectation of the event and so many women approached me to get to know me. I have not stopped sharing my experience with people I come across. I've spoken to 4 women in business about Women's Network Australia in one day - they are from Wollongong, Sydney and Brisbane. I hope they end up joining because they have no idea what they are missing out on. Heidi Yi Director Something Beautiful By Heidi
Another great WNA lunch. I agree with the general sentiment - it's a lovely environment in which to spend a few hours with like-minded people. Bernadette Schwerdt Managing Director Australian School of Copywriting
To walk into a room of complete strangers to me is utterly daunting but at WNA I have met with friendly welcoming faces that create an immediate sense of ease. I have been staggered on all occasions at the diversity of the women in the room and the empowerment that just buzzes in the air. With the examples that surround us in that room, how could one feel anything but positive and motivated?! Sue Godden Company Director BMX Building Maintenance Xpress

The power of my Membership with WNA is amazing. The opportunity to stand up and briefly introduce my business at a recent WNA luncheon connected me with another WNA Member. After the exchange of business cards and a follow-up meeting my business has literally been put on the map. I now have 'hot' interest from the Courier Mail, The Australian and Network Nine 'Getaway' show. All this for a $150 annual membership and great company. Thank you WNA. Thanks so much for including the graphic in our advert on the eNoticeBoard. The first day after the distribution we have had almost 50-75% more FREE CD signups than we normally get. I think this proves that an image works although I would like to test it again. In our other research we have seen an image increase the conversion of an online text ad up to 300% more. Just wanted to stick with what is working and keep you posted as to what is helping us the most. Thanks very much! Ryan Gray Manager Argonyx Studios
