**ON HOLD *** Sharing Stories about Strange Birds Is Good For Business

**** 13/03/2020  Event Postponed *****

The Australian Government has this afternoon advised that gatherings of more than 500 people are to be cancelled from Monday 16 March 2020 in response to COVID-19.
Following this advice, I have considered the implications for WNA and our members, and have taken the decision to cancel all WNA events for the rest of March.  I believe this is the right decision to take at this time.

The health and welfare of WNA members and guests, and the broader community is paramount.

Any decisions about April events will be made based on the latest advice of health officials.
I will keep you informed.

In the meantime, I would encourage you to continue to collaborate and share your positive insights with fellow members through WNA’s social media channels and website.

We will be posting information about our Business Insight sessions, and other online events.  Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding as we work though this unprecedented situation.

Best regards

Are you finding it hard to get away to business networking events during the day? Our next event might be just the solution.

Join us at The Matriarch for our Ideas After Dark Event.  The perfect opportunity to increase your visibility and profile after work.  We will start off the night off with networking drinks and nibbles. Followed by our two inspirational speakers Leeanne Puglisi-Gangemi and Robyn Puglisi-Henderson from  Ballandean Estate Wines  with a splash of wine tasting as well.  We will find out more about the renowned ‘Strange Bird’ varietals in Queensland Region.

Our Guest Speakers:

Leeanne Puglisi-Gangemi is an outstanding advocate for Queensland’s burgeoning wine industry and one of Australia’s most influential women in wine. At the end of 2018, Leeanne was elected to the Winemaker’s Federation (WFA) board. She is the second Queensland board member to be elected since WFA’s 1999 inauguration and the first Queensland female board member to be elected. As a fourth-generation operator of Ballandean Estate, Ms Puglisi-Gangemi has worked tirelessly as an industry ambassador for decades.

Robyn Puglisi-Henderson is Ballandean Estate’s problem solver who keeps the business thriving. Her expertise in export trade, sales, business administration while mixing in family business make Robyn’s life in a regional winery fulfilling. She is married to Lirah vinegar maker Ian Henderson, another successful local business.
