Inflammation is a DIRTY word
What is Inflammation and our Capillary System?
Before I launch into my favourite topic of Inflammation, first I need to discuss our microcirculation, namely our Capillary System.
Everything and I mean everything, for oxygen, nutrients, red blood cells, all nutrients and adult stem cells to arrive at any given area within the body, MUST travel through our micro-circulation called the Capillary System.
All over our body, capillaries are tiny blood vessels connecting arteries to veins. Capillaries are the smallest blood vessels in the body and have walls only one or two cells thick. To visualise this, one red blood cell has to fold over itself to be able to be transported through the tiny blood vessel.
What is Inflammation?
In the body, inflammation is important to protect areas of the body which may have a cut or an injury, infection etc, then inflammation swings into action – compounds are released to increase blood flow, to attract immune cells and stem cells, so all these can do their job locally and to repair the tissue, then after the repair, everything goes back to normal. This process is one of our body’s basic survival instincts.
‘Inflammation is very effective in fighting off invaders, but when the body is exposed to invaders for long period of time, the defence mechanisms can turn against us’, quote from Dr Peter Libby, Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
What this means if left unchecked, low-level systemic inflammation can simmer for years, contributing to many ailments, such as Sinus, Bladder Infections, Gingivitis, Stomach Ulcers as can food allergens, pesticides.
The most dangerous aspect of chronic inflammation is its stealthy nature, unless you are unfortunate to have the painful inflammatory disease like Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis, you may not have a symptom at all.
There is a simple solution to address this systemic all body inflammation from occurring and to take control of inflammation – then and only then, your body is able to do its job naturally, and most importantly, enable adult stem cells to flow freely and identify the tissues in need of repair and rejuvenation, via our capillary system.
Please contact me if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to discuss the above. I do not make any health claims; this article is for educational purposes only. I do not diagnose, cure, alleviate or prevent any disease.
