The Small Business Owners Guide To Creating DIY Business Videos

Kerrin Smith - Videographer, Photographer and Principal of Easy Business Video Creation

Kerrin Smith, Videographer and PhotographerVideo currently makes up one-third of all internet traffic and is set to hit two-thirds by the end of 2017. With these sorts of statistics it's crucial that business owners make the move into the world of video creation.

In this presentation, Kerrin steps you through how to use your smartphone and some simple accessories to create and upload business videos. Kerrin will then share techniques on how to identify opportunities and topics for filming your business videos.

Using this simple guide will allow you to create a list of topics to film that will build trust with your existing audience as well as create relationships with new prospects.

The techniques Kerrin will be covering can be used to create video blog posts, welcome videos and even 'going live' videos. She will also be explaining the best ways to maximise your business videos so that each one becomes a powerful marketing tool.

Currently only 9% of all small businesses are sharing videos on YouTube, so by creating an online video presence NOW it will allow you to position you and your business as the expert in your field.

About Kerrin Smith:

professional videographer and photographer, over the past 10 years Kerrin has worked with hundreds of clients helping them to create visual marketing content. She is passionate about developing quality multimedia products that are creative, interesting and result in powerful online marketing tools for her clients’ businesses.

Kerrin found that whilst most small business owners she worked with recognised the importance of creating video content for their businesses, few knew where to start. Common barriers to DIY video production include a lack of time and complete confusion about what equipment to use.

To assist small businesses, Kerrin has developed some really easy to follow step-by-step guides to creating DIY business videos. She comes with much expertise on the subject. She has a Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree, Diploma of Screen and Media, and a Diploma of Management.

Kerrin will show you how to:

  • Put together an easy to use video tool kit.
  • Film and edit a simple business video on a smartphone.
  • Identify topics that can be turned into video content.
  • Use the video for the online marketing of your business.
