So why do you need to blog and what can it do for your small business?

1.Search engines like information. Google is always looking for new information as well as content which explores niche topics in more detail. Your business blog will contain posts can do that.

2. Your customers have lots of questions and by doing a blog you can answer them. It gives you a chance to show your expertise and inform your customers that you are the best choice for them.

3. Your blog is a great place to share your news and industry news.

4. It can assist you to attract an audience. If you become the expert in say marketing strategy, then people will come back to find your answers and opinion on things.

5. It allows you to tell your story and share your ideas so people get to know you more and create opportunities for your business.

6. You can make money. Some bloggers have sponsors for their blog and sell other products and services because of the traffic they attract.

7. You get the chance to build a rapport with your audience (that is you) and connect on a different level.

8. By blogging you can share your stories in other mediums including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and more to spread your ideas and find an audience.

9. Blogging allows you to become a better writer. The more you do it the better you become. And when you consider that most work and sales today is done over email, you quickly realise that it’s much more critical to have good writing skills than ever before.

10. You can attract new employees to your business.
