Public Relations & Media Services
Even if you do not do your own marketing, you want to be sure to know what Google has to offer you.

Being the top search engine, Google has power and offers free options to put your marketing into overdrive. Here are just three for you

  1. Google Digital Garage

The Digital Garage is a free training platform from Google to help anyone increase their knowledge of all things digital, from website creation and online marketing, to social media, e-commerce and beyond. Whether you’re looking to grow your business or career The Digital Garage has everything you need to know, delivered in bite-sized videos you can access anywhere

  1. Google My Business

Google My Business is a free and easy-to-use tool for businesses and organizations to manage their online presence across Google, including Search and Maps. By verifying and editing your business information, you can both help customers find you and tell them the story of your business.

Google My Business offers you posting, further increasing visibility for your business. And if you are operation globally, you can still make use of a Google My Business Listing

  1. You Tube

YouTube is more than just a video platform; it’s a community of worldwide fans and one of Google’s power tools for your business. More than 400 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. People watch hundreds of millions of videos ranging from mainstream topics like “how-to”, news and sports, to the very specialised or niche. But they don’t just watch; YouTube is a social network where fans comment and creators interact with their communities. If you have not yet included You Tube in your Marketing, start now

  1. Google+

If you’re a local business, setting up and maintaining a Google+ Page goes hand in hand with your Google My Business listing (see above), making Google+ even more critical for you. And considering your Google My Business listing will include a link to your business’ Google+ Page, it’s important to take some extra time to make your page the best it can be.

And if global is your focus, use your Google+ page to announce your latest blog post, using hashtag keywords and watch your post pop up on Google page one for those keywords!

Getting to know and using these four Google Marketing tools will enhance your visibility in searches and can increase visitors to your website quite dramatically. The key to any search visibility is that you use the appropriate keywords – and there Google has another cool tool for you: Google Trends!

Happy ‘Googling’
